reeves is a brother/sister duo from Quesnel, B.C. While always musical, they have only just started to seriously pursue writing and performing in the last year, recording their first album with the help and guidance of Shawn Smith at Anderson Drive Studio in March 2011.

reeves the band started as the Reeves, a family of 5 children, all of whom share a love of creating musical fusion, as well as a passion for teaching inspired by their parents who are both teachers. While their family plays a huge supporting role, Tim and Jemma have ventured out on their own into new territory and stolen the family name for their musical endeavours.

Using a variety of classic folk instruments; guitar, banjo, piano, fiddle and harmonica these ambitious teens hope to inspire listeners using their gracious harmonies and home hitting lyrics. Their music is a soulful combination of indie vibes and folk music, creating an easily enjoyed, uniquely crafted sound of home. reeves bring the spark of Fiest in with the chill sound of Neil Young and the results are something that settles in and stays with you.
 
When Reeves got back from a 2011 cross Canada summer tour they immediately started the on-going writing of their second album.
